My mom helped me venture to SDC this week with the kiddos. Ava is 48″ tall and Shep is 36″. With those heights, they have an abundance of rides they can now do. They had a blast and pretty confident they are going to be roller coaster enthusiasts like me! Shep got to ride the big swings, the big boat, the pirate ships, elephants, and kid coaster for the first time.
Another T-Ball game win! This one was hard earned as we were short 3 players. Short enough that Ava stepped in as back catcher. We quickly found out this is not her favorite position. She didn’t like having people running towards her….haha. That and she is much too obliging letting people pass by before she grabs the ball. I don’t see her being a goalie in the future either. Regardless we are proud of her effort in all she does.
This Week’s Books
“The Good for Nothing Button” was super cute and funny! “Bullies Never Win” was a good lesson book. Shepard liked “The Pirate of Kindergarten”, which is about a girl having double vision. No one in our family wears glasses so it was interesting to read this one because I have never even thought about someone having a double vision problem.
Ava loved the “B-Bears Big Track Meet”, so maybe we will have a future track athlete.
