Progress has definitely been made on the barn this week. We had lots of helping hands this weekend. It was pretty great to see the transformation from the morning to the evening.
Little man at work…
Ellie Bear has officially found her favorite person.
The kiddos did some bike riding this week. Ava wanted to teach Shep how to ride his big boy bike.
Shep has the determined face. I know my mom recognizes where this face comes from.
Shep let Ava dress him up like a superhero and this is what she came up with. I think he was pleased with it.
Gluten Free & Dairy Free Menu
- Chicken bacon ranch with lentil pasta, collard greens, Tessemae Creamy Ranch with sweet peas and cantaloupe.
- Buffalo chicken with basmati rice and broccoli.
- Rice bowl with sautéed chicken, collard greens & bacon, and plantains.
- Lentil pasta with squash, zucchini, bacon, turmeric, and parsley.
This week I’ve kinda started going towards more vegan meals. I dunno. I am just finding that I kinda feel better with just some veggies and different variations of protein. Lentil pasta and chickpea pasta actually have a decent amount versus your normal wheat pastas. They are also more filling with less. Lentil pasta I believe has an average 13g of protein per serving.
Health & Wellness
I decided it might be fun to share my own vitamin regimen. I always like learning about what others are taking and what is working for them. The morning starts with a shot of turmeric. I usually mix about 2 teaspoons with a little bit of water. Turmeric is great for inflammation. This past January I was diagnosed with PMDD (Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder). I take BC pills, St.John’s Wort, and Evening Primrose Oil. I also make time to incorporate some exercise. All of that together helps me greatly with my PMDD. And of course vitamin D is always a great part of the regimen. The day is ended with the multivitamin.
I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful week! God Bless!
