We have a roof on the barn home! Just in time too!
Little man had a sinus infection this past week. I caught him dozing one afternoon. So sweet!
Big sister doesn’t let him stay under the weather for too long.
Scott was a walking allergy after mowing and “weedereating” the whole property. Sweet Shepard helped his Daddy weed eat the yard and was so excited to tell me that him and Daddy “weedereated” the yard.
Not only did the kiddos get to “weedereat” the yard, Daddy also taught them how to use the leaf blower. Mommy had to take extra Flonase with this new skill.
Gluten Free & Dairy Free Eats
I like tea, but I would not consider myself a tea person. I just usually don’t get super excited about it for whatever reason….until now. Scott and I both really like the Traditional Medicinals teas. My go-to is peppermint. I love the clean feeling I get from drinking it and it does seem to soothe any tummy troubles I might have going on. The hibiscus is my next fave. I have yet to try the Turmeric yet, but Scott likes it.
An addictive snack enjoyed by the family is the Quinn peanut butter filled pretzels. So…good! The kids and I are big fan of HIPPEAS or chick pea puffs. I use to devour Cheetos as a child and have missed that crunchy puffiness goodness. These have been a great substitution for that.
And for a wild snack that you might have trouble getting brave enough to try is fish jerky. Yes, such a thing exists! It is actually pretty good I must say. It really does have a jerky taste and not really that fishy.
Farm & Garden
Ava has started calling herself an animal expert and I agree with that. She is especially good with birds. She gets chickens to chat with her.
As soon as the ducks see her approaching the pond, they waddle as fast as they can towards her.
Maybe we have a future vet? She wanted to doctor Abby, so this is Abby getting an x-ray from Doc Ava.
The Barn Build
So excited we have a roof! It is coming along!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week! God Bless!
