Our 4 favorite “F’s”. Fall is our favorite time of year. We enjoy working hard and relaxing to a football game and good food at the end of the day. Woo Pig Sooie! Go Razorbacks! Farming has definitely become a new love for our family.
Ava was a star student of the week in September. We are super proud and glad she is enjoying school.
In case anyone is keeping up, this is tractor #4. The tractor obsession is deep. Pretty sure the kiddos are going to inherit a tractor for a birthday, graduation, or be their daily driver to school. Scott makes a case for a purpose for each one.
Apparently, you just can’t argue or get between boys and their tractors.
Especially a little man and his tractor. Nothing brings a bigger smile to his face than when riding on a tractor.
Therefore, it was only fitting that the weathervane on our pole barn be……………a tractor.
Gluten Free & Dairy Free Menu
So I found this really great online grocery store. It is called Thrive Market. I’ve been using it for a little while now and have been quite impressed. If you are making changes to your diet, like vegan, dairy free, gluten free, free from allergens, and etc., this is a great resource. It is kinda difficult sometimes to weed through Wal-Mart and larger grocery store chains to find foods that are suitable for these type of diet modifications and lifestyles.
Thrive Market has an abundance of options for those who have such diets and it is super easy to search. They have everything from sauces, condiments, snacks, baking, pastas, and etc. For $5 a month or $60 a year, you can get a membership and get free shipping on groceries.
If you would like to give it a try, feel free to use my code: http://thrv.me/SRTzSQ and get 30% off your order!
Farm & Garden
The hens are getting more acquainted with their new swings. They prefer to swing side to side versus front to back.
Another tractor means more projects to get done!
Ava asked me if I was the one breathing down her neck. Umm…no dear it is most likely the big hairy Ellie Bear sitting behind you.
Meet Speckles! We have just now been able to get confirmation on new roosters in our silkie flock. This cute guy has been speaking up lately.
Bluey was very intrigued by my picture taking, so I had to capture her close-up. She’s precious.
I can say with certainty that this is the only tractor that we have that I can drive one handed while holding precious cargo like my Abby, our tiny but mighty farm dog.
The Barn Build
We have our porch roof done now. We are on to measuring and laying out plumbing, so we can get our slab poured. Yea!
I hope everyone has a fabulous week! God Bless!
