It was a fabulous weekend for a wedding. The kiddos got to be in charge of bubbles for their Aunt Paden’s wedding. That turned out to be the perfect job for them. They couldn’t wait to make bubbles. I think Shepard asked me at least 10,000x when they were going to get to blow bubbles. They sure looked adorable and it was fun getting them all dressed up. Fun other than the immense stress Ava gave me for doing things that were going to mess up her hair. Pretty sure she did everything possible to mess it from dancing and shaking her hair, rubbing her head on stuff, vigorously scratching her hair, laying on it, trying to spray detangler in it, and laying her head on our dog Abby. We could never be pageant people.

This is a perfect example of what mom life looks like for me. I am always the mom of the kids who need extra convincing and extra direction when it comes to situations like this. See…my kids are not even the youngest out there, but look who is the only mom having to be right there.

And Scott captured this beauty of a pic. Myself in action….running away as fast as possible in heels so they will make it through a few seconds of pictures. #momlife

They drive me bonkers, but I know I will look back some day and be glad I was that needed in their life.

Kid Books

Love love love “Please Please the Bees”. It was a great story to teach about appreciation. “Moon” was super cute. “Owls are Good At Keeping Secrets” was a cute alphabet book.

The kiddos thought “Bad Dog” was pretty funny. We love Bruce books, so we were glad to find a new one to us…”Bruce’s Big Storm”. “Ten Little Caterpillars” was very interesting because it went over numbers and different types of caterpillars and what type of moth or butterfly they turn into.
Gluten Free & Dairy Free Menu

Paleo Apple Pie Bars
So so good. I will share a recipe of this because it was super yummy and uses a caramel sauce that is perfect for all sorts of desserts.
Farm & Garden
Shep and Ava got to spend a fun Sunday afternoon with cousin Sophia.

They loved feeding the chickens persimmons and the chickens definitely loved being fed persimmons.

I think we have another farm girl! Chicken love is contagious.

Little man is all about helping daddy…especially when it comes to fixing a tire on “his” mower.

The Barn Build
Getting ready for plumbing and foundation! Seems a little funny to be driving a tractor in your house, but here we are.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week! God Bless!
